Lead Environment Artists, you create awesome environments with a keen eye for developing worlds and scenery with that WOW factor.
Players appreciate you when we are exploring and looting new lands, what you’ve created makes the game feel real as we get that jump for maximum air and take in the scenery.
You're currently in a Senior role, looking into taking the next steps into a Lead role. Or you’re in a Lead role and looking for that new project. Whatever the circumstances for looking into changing things up, this is a great chance to with a well-known, and in my opinion, great studio.
As the Lead Environment Artist, you are the full package with experience in video game production teams, the knowledge of world building fundamentals and a true understanding of Architecture, City Planning and Visual Design.
When it comes to your day to day, you’ll be working alongside the Art Director and Technical Art Director, to establish an environment art direction. Exploring different methods for creating assets such as Photogrammetry, Procedural Building Generation and Sculpting. As well was establishing detailed goals for yourself and your teammates, while creating the proper pipeline.
You'll be working on new projects here at Rainbow studios, they have a proven track record of shipping titles and no crunch. Rainbow really looks after their team with long term goals.
Now the great thing with Rainbow is you have the option of either working on-site in Montreal, Phoenix, or fully remotely within North America. What then makes Rainbow stand out that little bit more, is they don’t believe somebody should be short-changed just because of where they live, so they offer the same salaries as if you were living in Phoenix, no matter where you are!
